Parenting Against Drugs and Gangs is a 2-part interactive workshop series on the education and protection of youth against drug abuse and gang involvement. This dynamic workshop will discourage youth participation in current and future substance abuse and gang-related activities by teaching children and parents the harmful consequences of these lifestyles and by encouraging them to choose positive alternatives. In addition, the workshop will offer insights into popularity, tattoos, peer pressure, and the impact of substance abuse and gang activity on family members.

Parents have the right to be concerned. And now, with Professor Gulu’s National Child Safety Campaign, subjects (such as fire safety, drug abuse, Internet predators, etc) that parents may find difficult to discuss with their children can be effectively communicated through books, songs, and music.
